Exploring Pixton

 Pixton is a website that allows you to create comics to use with your students in class. It is a great tool to practice language functions and introduce creativity and can be very engaging however the letdown is that it isn't free! :( 

I have been able to create a demo and I have access to it for the next 7 days. After that period of time, I must subscribe in order to continue having access to my content, which is a bummer! 

Anyways, I'd like to share with you what I have created for my 6th graders. Since we are working with the unit "AT THE MARKET", I have created an avatar and I have provided my students with the link to my Pixton profile. There they can access, create their own avatar and go to the tab "comics". Once there, they can create their own short comic and put into practice the language functions learned in this unit.
